GEORGI BELOMAJOV

Georgi Belomajov was born in 1990 in Varna, Bulgaria to a family of musicians. He begins playing the piano at the age of 4 and subsequently enters the National School of Arts “Dobri Hristov” (Varna) in the class of Stanislava Stavreva. After graduating in 2009, he begins his bachelor’s degrees in piano, chamber music and piano accompaniment at the National Academy of Music “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov” (Sofia) in the classes of Prof. Stela Dimitrova-Maistorova, Prof. Jeni Zaharieva and Doc. Marina Kapitanova respectively. Following that he receives his master’s degree in piano accompaniment and in 2015 he graduates the academy after his specialization in Prof. Angel Stankov’s class of chamber music. During his studies, Georgi has participated in multiple national and international competitions, where he has been awarded many different prizes. As a soloist, Georgi has played with the Academic Symphonic Orchestra and the “Simfonieta” Orchestra with Prof. Milko Kolarov as conductor. In the year of 2013 he goes through an internship in “Pedagogy of chamber music education” and since 2014 he is a teacher – accompanist in the National School of Music “Lyubomir Pipkov”. During his work as an accompanist, Georgi participates in many competitions along with the soloist students under his care, where he has been awarded prizes for artistic accompaniment. His joint work with Viktor Petrov began in their school years, when they developed a wonderful partnership on stage.
